Got this local calendar of events update today:
John Reischman & the Jaybirds house concert
"Craig Kincaid is pleased to announce that he will be hosting a concert at 4809 Chicago Ave, Fair Oaks. Not just any concert! Come see John Reischman and the Jaybirds in a rare Sacramento area house concert! Monday evening, February 14 (yes, Valentine's Day). A chance to see these outstanding musicians in a cozy setting. It will be John Reischmann, Trisha Gagnon, Jim Nunally, and Nick Hornbuckle. They've just released their 3rd CD and it's critically acclaimed just like the other two. John Reischman is considered to be one of the worlds top-ranked mandolin players and composers and the rest of the band is equally up to the task of playing great bluegrass music. Doors open at 630 PM, music starts at 730. Visit with friends and enjoy some refreshments. Tickets are $15. Call 916-863-5440 or email crakinwood@pacbell.net to reserve a seat."
