We Lost Her Today, Age 72

She, was one of them BIG voices, from before a lot of you were born.

They, brought that big voice into struggles for civil rights, women's rights, and rights of all kinds.

What she and they did, for humans, with their art? Priceless.

Mary Travers passed away. And I miss her voice already. And I miss her.

She was one of the greats. She, and they, walked the walk in '63, and '64, down south.

And for antiwar. And for so, so much more.

Bless her, and all she sang and did for the rest of us.

She had the big voice and the courage to use it for others.

What more can a human bring to the table, and leave for others?

Sniff. She was a hammer. A BIG one.
