Farm Subsidies

70% of the cash go to 10% of the producers? So they cut 5% across the board so it'll be 'fair' and 15% of the bottom 30% sell out to Bush's family and friends? But since when is Ted Turner on of those?

Comments:
Great read, thanks. Tween The World Bank and ShrubCo (hard to tell em apart anymore) Big Bro is ALL over our shit. Time to fiddle and eat cookies, methinks! ;-)

Just as long as there's no spring wheat in those cookies. I'm boycotting it. That and canola. Oh, and corn. That and oil. Corn oil. Corn is killing America.

Hmmmm . . . corn certainly is a dual edged sword, ain't it. Another great read . . . . Geez, what they said about bovine stomach's, disease, and corn!

However, if they will just get that ONE biomass conversion plant up to full speed somewhere in the midwest, n then build more, it will help portend the doom for many an outdated patient or subsidy. At least give us a buffer till electric, solar, or hydrogen fuel takes off . . . .

N that read CERTAINLY takes the emotional heartstrings outta that song, "Where Corn Don't Grow", which I love.

Hot corn, cold corn bring along a demijohn...and die.

Please be careful when ordering CORN online!

"The reason, Your Honor, for purchasing large amounts of barley, yeast and sugar was that I was making my own Vegemite and the alcohol is just a byproduct of the process....Sir...it's against EPA directives to dump raw alcohol into the sanctuary so we first filtered it through our livers and kidneys...sir."
