New Rooke Of The Year Spring Fest

Please be on the lookout for a newbie by name of Kym Dimond (cyberhandle) who will attending her first ever Berry Fest at Howdyville-from SoCal, previously a KPIG dj and Santa Cruz resident of years ago. She may pull in before me n Bernie do. Nice lady, may have a guest with her.

She, much like Yer Unkle, does some reenactment period stuff . . . is into old time smithy work, too!

Make her welcome, n don't frighten her too much at first, ok? She's a bit nervous about all this, and had nowhere else really, to try and fit in for her first fest.
Thought that offering her a spot at Howdy was in line with what Howdy Was In The Beginning, and is, still, today . . . . . I'm thinking, there's two dudes smiling down on this and feeling good about it . . . . ;-) They'd prolly hit on her, too . . . . ;-) You wolves leave her alone n let her lasso her OWN! ;-)

Comments:
don't worry...we'll make them/her welcome.....hey, I'm bringing 2 resturant size cans of chopped clams ..about 6 and a half lbs...a little onion...celery...potatoes...bacon...whadaya think aboot chowdah?...meebee a little gahlic bread?

Hey Ev!!! Thanks hoss, she may get there before we do, 'preciate the heads up.

Man, ya had me goin with the clams there, I was thinkin a real buttery n creamy white clam sauce over linguini!!! LOLOL

I just made a jar of pesto. Got some shrimp meat. N pasta. N chicken, too, lots of yardbird. No one ever goes hongry there, do they? LOL

N first thing I'll do when I get there? Set up canopy/kitchen, and go get ice and a GYRO!!!!!!! Pay for it with REAL AMERICAN DOLLAHS, PLEASE, too!!!

Chowdah sounds GREAT! Garlic bread sounds great! I'm IN! PHUD sounds GREAT! I'ts ALL Good! Count me as labor if ya need help!

Certainly no point in leaving anything at home, I've ALWAYS said THAT!!!!!!!!!! lol

A pre-determined Rookie of the Year? She better be able to whittle breakfast out of an acorn. How about the Eggs Benedict XXIV? Two quail eggs on little bitty crackers covered in Hollandaise with a shot glass of grape juice and heretic fries.

Who's bringing the Ahi?

You? Hell, I'm still looking for catfish. I can get all the tuna I need around here but no catfish.

I'm taking a Strawberry Virgin. Jessica, Barb Roger's eldest and sister of Little Ashley is going up with Bobbi and Me. It just could be her first music festival ever. Let's all try to get Zeke to not talk to her OR any other teenaged girl. They always seem to get the best of him and bring out the worst.

hey Mr. Martin...could you please give us a call before you leave tomorrow? It's kinda important...685-3452
we need to send along somethin tiny but vital..and it needs to be there asap...

Cuz, it's not a competition n YER kids can win, n they deserve it! I was just trying to get this FNG thing offa my yoke.

Quail Eggs? Ya want bennies, I'll DO bennies, but yer gonna get the Sunday Brunch Version. N MY Hollendiase is green with avacado. No chipotle. Shrimp or smoked salmon.

Did Zeke sneeze in there, ahichew? Must be the draft up that short skirt he favors.

N yeh, Martin, I don't think Zeke, or many of the others, should EVER be left around children unsupervised. The kids these days have SUCH an advantage . . . . ;-)

Get me there, then, now. N damn them earlybirds n gypsies dancin on Dan's bar tonite!

didn't mean to scare anyone...but we need to send up a little cash...

Wait, wait, wait...there's a bar?

HEY! I can handle the teens, really! *L* YEAAH RIGHT! (Just like the Rangers too, eh?)They kick my butt everytime I start talkin' to em! Tarnation's Sake Already! Are we there yet???????

Neither is Miss Wendy. Except that Brenda's concert isn't until next week so they're heading up Thursday night...to catch up.

Guess we need to save Miz Wendy n Brender some chowduh n meat loaf.

Maybe they could set up in Cuz's campspot and guard his beer.

Hey Cuz, can I have yer beer? Guess the campspot's already been claimed.

Imagine, a bar, and Evan's sendin up cash . . . hmmmmmmmmm . . .

Ev buys the drinks??? We'll be there Thurs. afternoon. I bet the money's all used up by then........
Liz is all excited, we're almost all packed. For Larue's buffet she's whipping up "a little Greek treat" (as she puts it).
On top of that, we have two cases of 2 buck chuck.......(Liz sez to "be quiet Dave")

Hey ya Dave!!! Good to hear ya squeal! Hi to Liz from us. Good thing she's bringing something, I just invited the entire fest to HowdyVille Thursday afternoon, includin The Avalanche Choir (their tent is goin back up this fest!!!) and The Biscuit Burners!!!! Don' worry, half of both them Tribes are vegans n wont eat much . . . . .LOL This is gonna be some great fest, Hell, it already is!!!!!

River? What river? Got any cookies, Cuz?

I ain't seen Linda's pride and joy up here. I was in my camp all day too. Beautiful camp in <>O. Bears in the camp at Evrgreen. Elicia has a nice story. The weather is here, wish you were beautiful. GET UP HERE.

I wish I could! Just got back from Cabo, and boy are my arms tired.... No, really.... from tryin' to convince 30-40 pound tuna to hop into the boat. Once again, Ames caught the biggest fish. Well, it was her birthday. Saw a half dozen marlin, flyin' through the air, right next to the boat. Just couldn't get 'em to eat. Good though...pulled in a hundred pounds of tuna! Hope y'all have a great Berry, and keep Larue outta the river, Zeke away from the teenagers, Fred away from his galley, and hey martin, try not to spill any beer in camp.....

Damn!!! Dave, I love ya man.

You n Amy are solid.

WE love ya, like we love all langers n roustabots from Dah Cruz.

What a trip it seems at Cabo. Way coool!!!!! Nicely done, hoss, and well, classy, for a classy gal.

So like, for her 3ohhhhhhhhh . . . you can't find time to come up the hill at the last minute, scour the Berry Website, or just pull into The Line Or Lodge for tix, and join us all? Tix galore, available, all over hell n gone . . . . Damn. Missin ya both, already, n we is still never leavin for um . . . . . 9 hours.

Grass Valley? CBA Fest? On the grassy knoll, with Zeke N Tubdude n I? No rivers, no phookin cookies, n a stable and serious minded camp atmosphere focused on the things in life what matter at a fest. You know.

Say, at Berry Tomorrow, Cuz still has a campspot and some beer he's tryin to off . . . . wanna? LOLOL

Best to you n yers, hoss, from me n mine.

Can I join too?

Just wanted to thank y'all for making me feel so welcome at Howdyville, again. Last fall was my 1st Strawberry, after threatening for about 20 years. I broke up with my girlfriend on friday night and lost my tent and chair in the "settlement", and ended up sleeping in my car and playing Yogi bear for phud, and Camp Howdy was an easy touch...

Let's have a big hand for Jim the Fellow Meadow Rat. Every show, there he was up front tappin' his toes.

Yep, he had some fun, didn't he. I'm thinkin HE was the Yogi Bear what got into Alecia's locker on the road, but, he SWEARS he was in Pahrump, at the time.

Harumph! ;-)

Fun? Did someone mention fun?

Already put in for the extra days off for Fall Fest--ain't gonna miss Sunday night AGAIN!

Jim

Dang, ya gotta respect a hoss what learns THAT fast!!!
