How About that AAA Allstar Game!

I just know Martin must have caught some of that game last night. Boy! The local River Cat dudes were swingin away! Good game, & now...back to our regularly scheduled NHL Season!

DROP THE FREAKIN PUCK ALREADY!!!!

Comments:
'Puck'? Methinks the only Puck goin down is from Midsummer's Night Dream up Ashland way. N Puck would go down on about ANYTHING, the lil horny devil. Not that I would compare Zeke to Puck, or anything like that. Well, maybe the lil horny devil part, but, that pretty much covers about everyone in here, gender wise. So, anyone having any fun? It's 105 here. N 125 where my buddy Jim is in Pahrump. Course, it's 63 degrees, with light nw breezes along the coast, and fog due in at 5pm till 11am. God I miss the sound of buoy's ringin and the seals n seal lions barkin. It's better N a mournful train whistle in the distance. Well, ok, it's not better, but, it's similar. Anyone else got some trite observations to share? NOT the 'pull my finger kind', thank you. Is Martin EVER coming home? Or was he booted for festivitis . . .

Well, it's not quite 125 here, but only about 3 miles away from my front door it is!

No festivals for me until Fallberry, then Millpond, and maybe down on the Colorado river, then Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. YOU'll be there, woncha, LaRoo???

Jim

As Allah and Buhdda are my witnesses, me n Bernie will both be there, in the hotel that Howdy favors, if there's a room left.

It WOULD be our first, and man, I am SOOOO lookin forward to this. It's one we haven't done, and it's my old stompin grounds, and well, it's just sick and sad we aint' dont this yet.

It's time.

I hope we are there. I really do. I might even go, even if there's no pickin. Given the lineup, I might need to torch my reso anyway. ;-) Lemme know, Jim, if you wanna book rooms tandem, or something like that. Or, ride along with us, from Sac, n leave YER vehicle here, etc. Lots of time, lots of options.

If it's a room at the Inn you be seekin', methinks you might be invokin' the wrong deities, there, LaRoo!

MY old stompin' grounds, too, so it's kinda like a pilgrimage, of sorts, eh?

Yeah, the Hardly strictly thing is a blast, been to every one so far. Got the room booked at the Beresford about a month ago, high up facin' the street for that good balcony time. Last couple years we just took over the White Horse bar and picked till the wee hours. The bartender just locked the door at ten, and took our money for the rest of the night. Musta been Fleets Scotish accent that did it! And yes the bouy's are a ringin' and ther's critters ffedin' off the back of the boat as we type...I mean speak. Nice day here in the hahbah, been sunny since I got up, but the fog looms about a half mile out. Nice sailin' though. Gonna try and make fall Berry, but the new gig is takin' up all my free time. Havin' my boat here at the yard just means I get knocks on the hull all day long from people needin' advice. Could be worse, could be in Excremento!

Sailor Dave, you said a mouthfull. Take care, sorry bout the long hours, hope yer gettin rich enuff to retire to the coastal village of yer dreams. With enuff left over to make Berry Fest twice a year, for the rest of yer life. Howdy to Cheese, please!

You guys still slay me!
BWAH!

On a bright note, my Strawberry tickets came in the mail today!

I, too, love this town...

Jim
