You People Were Fun!

Saw all y'all, n then, we didn't.

N we had a blast Friday nite.

N we didnt' see ya Sattiday morning. Cept for Dave N Amy, as we tooted horn n waved like grinnin idjit flatlanders loose in The City,, Sattiday Mornine at 10am, as we drove by Dah Pahk.

N we couldnt't find parking, within 2 miles, n well, we were stretched for stayin, so we didn't.

Bad plannin our our part, but, now we got a lay of the land and know what it takes to make it work next year. N we will.

Had KPIG on 1510 all morning long, driving round the city, lovin the scenes, the people, n my lard, this IS where the phucking melting pot is all about. The drivin round Sattiday mornin was almost as good as the yakkin Friday nite . . .

I love The City, for what it is.

It's like any other city, it's dirty, clean, preverted, n can be dangerous.

But, it's MY City, still. N I love it, despite only a resident for years of it's peninsula (no man is an island, he's a peninsula). N it's still all the things it was, some 30 years ago, last time I hit a concert, be it Winterland, SpeeedWay Meadows, Family Dog or Fillmore West.

The City still rocks, n so do all of you. It was fun!

I got a dose of KPIG, YOU People, and well, a wake up call about the blue v. red.

Fuck the red, let em come our here n mess with us in our house. Our house is strong. Very Strong. I loved it. Thanks.

Beach party, say, late October, early November? Ice? Firewood? Ding!

oh...

5. Where's Larue?

Hey Larueski baby, Next time you & Bernie come to the big city ya oughta like...stay & see the show, maybe? Did you really think that you were going to find a parking space in or any where near the park? Come on boy, get a'hold of yerself! I beleive I told ya the best place to park fer that thing is in the "Avenues"..ie..any one of the streets by the 25th Ave Park Entrance...all residential & no meters. The later ya get there the further ya have to walk. But I'm sure ya have already thought up every almost-reasonable excuse to drive all the way frm the Godfersakenvalleythattimefergot, but gee wiz boy...ya dun missed one of the best things going.

But, in yer defense, which aint much...Jim was correct about the crowds. Whoah! Haven't seen that place so crowed since they invited Willie Nelson a couple back. Anyhoot, we were all there wondering where you ended up. Maybe next time.

Maybe...Just Maybe...BOYS WEEKEND OUT????

I made the Split Lip Rayfield show long enough to see the geetar player pop the same wire twice. Those Kansas boys can get at it.

Now that was some serious F'n FUN..
I had a blast. and I love the city...
We had no problem parking close...
Yea Larue we kept wondering "Where da hell you were." Hard to understand you went home and missed all that FREE music. Yea, you will proberly hear about it for a long time..
Gee's if we had know ya needed "Party Parking sitting" we would have send scouts with ya.
Anyway good to see you and Bernie..and the rest of "Howdy"...Great time.....Thanks for da fun with ya'll....

We drove around 25th, and a two mile radius, for the better part of an hour Saturday morning beginning at 10:15 and didn't see ONE spot. We were an hour or so late, I spose. I had stuff in the van, didn't really want to leave it on the street . . . shoulda asked about leaving my instruments with someone with a room. It was 85 degrees Friday nite, I didn't sleep a a wink. We didn't think we could survive with 3 or more n a room on Satiday night, no point in spoilin someone else's fun. We did what we should have done. N we still had fun. Next year, more money, cab rides, rooms booked, etc. No worries mates. We ain't. Worried. Cept, tell me, how many dogs were there that you folks saw? SF Gate says it's dog friendly, n THAT will kill it for Bernie, completely. And utterly. If they had casino gambling in the hotel, it wouldn't matter at the fest n I'd fly solo . . . lol

Martin's 1-4 don't suck!

Dude, that wasn't a steed...that was a gelding and I highly recommend it.

I thought it was a conjugation sort of like steed, stud, stood.

FRAU BLUECHER!!!!!

Yeah, there were dogs...so what? I mean, I tend to believe that the park's "citizens" & other lively locals were probably more threatening than any of the drool drippin laplanders I saw about. But I too saw that Irish Wolfhoud...what a cool pooch! Prolly good to have him around for Boy's Weekend...ready to leap into the river at a moment's notice when somebody takes a wrong turn at the river bank!!!

Wwweeeeeeee WWWWeeeeeeee(horse sound)
Ohhhh what big feet you have and Oh what big hands you have..Your ****** must be soooo big too..
Nice Knockers...
Yea I thought the dogs were kool also..Hey it's a park..dogs belong in the park.Yea the locals were pretty colorful and have'n a damm good time. We brought the party to them..Next on the 30th it's Family Dog with another FREE day of music. Chet Helms Memorial...

Yeah, a good timuh was had by all. Great show sattiday, loved the X reunion over at the Star stage. We had to get back by three on sunday for Amy to bellydance, so we ended up on Fishermans Wharf, sunday morn, watchin' football at the Hooters...I kid you not. Good food , ice cold beer in a frosty mug, and thirty TV's. Everything you could possibly want to see....and some football! Missed ya on the meadow Larue, everytime we saw somebody fall down, we'd go..."Hey! There he.........nevermind". Too much fun!

Less dogs at Hooters probably...if you know what I mean and I hope I do.

Hey Kendig, methinks it's time one of YOU people need to mess up. I tire of all the attention. HOOTERS?!?!?!? Don't ever jive ME again, about not being there for that. Hooters. Ya Previe . . . . ;-)Ya had Dolly, fer cryin out loud . . . .
