When Visiting Capitol City...

Good beer, good food, striking service, you can make your own beer for 8.65 a twelver (but you gotta make twenty-two twelvers at a time. Make up your own recipe and the Yeasty Boys whip it up for you. Come by for a tasting at the appropriate times. As the locals say, "Go ahead and make that Chocolate Peppermint Christmas Stout but just remember you're going to end up with 6 cases of the stuff.

Comments:
I realize there's no baseball this time of year, n the Kings Suck, n there's no pucks droppin locally, but, what are ya doin in my town without a kiss or a 'howdy'?

Happy Birthday, BTW, sorry I didn't acknowledge, but, ya didn't tell me it WAS yer birthday.

BTW, mine's tomorrow, send cash or whiskey . . . . . ;-)

To My Friend Martin:

May you never be fished from a river (n less ya CHOOSE ta fall in one).
May the river ya CHOOSE ta fall in be made of the Irish Whiskey of yer choice (pc acknowledgement).
May yer rope never fray, and may yer tub never dull.
And may yer family love you as they do, cuz man, that'll keep ya around for a few more.

Best to you, hoss, and yer family.
NASTROVIA!

Any other birthdays I gotta find quippy stuff to throw at?

Apparently there's a reason we all hang around together. Mine's sunday, then Miss Wendy's in a week er so. Ya comin' down for my party? Bob Earl Keen's playin' it again(well they disguise it as the Humbug Hoedown, but I ain't buyin' it). Slap Happy B'day to ya, and don't fall in any of them Sacto rivers, I hear they have funny chemicals up there in the Hinterlands. Lighted boat parade first, then the stumble downtown for the party.

So, ya'll actually going to the HoHum party? I dunno, Rich Brotherton is a fantastic musician & fun to watch, but honestly...I think KPIG needs to come up with something different for once. Keen's good & all, but he's kinda startin to bore me...just me speakin, 'course.

Seeing as it's Dave's B-day this weekend, I'm just wonderin when a poker game's gonna break out in that nice new poker parlor of his?

Sorry, Larue, but I was in conference until after 6 and had to get back at it for a breakfast thing at 7:30. No time for fun. Seeing how there's no stores around, the brewitup is the closest place to buy beer anywheres around the Capitol. Kin place.

"Kin place" . . Yeh, I've said that a few times myself . . . .

No worries, there's not much we COULDA done even if there WAS time. Get drunk n fall in the river is about it this time of year.

Wow, Dave, thanks . . . man, that's a LOT of Hatchlings all at once!!!! You people got no problem findin a reason to hoot and nanny, I bet, round this time of year!

Geez, it's so bad, it would appear that Martin left town 'on business' . . .

I'll miss yer party Dave, once again. No time off work available and I'd NEED a five day weekend to keep up with YOU people . . . . and we're comin over there XMAS time again. Had an outstanding Friday Dinner last week at Phil's. They're selling Green Lip Mussels (New Zealand) at $4.99 lb. for less than phreakin Manilla Clams (Washington) $5.49.

Go get some (Green Lips) (snicker, snicker) n toss em up with a 'lil garlic, fresh chopped ginger root, sesame oil, splash soy sauce, lil cocanut milk, chopped scallions, toss in some basil n lemon grass. Tasty stuff. Could even toss it with some thick fettucini noodle . . garnish with lil carrot slivers n such . . .

Oink! Burp . . . . . Hi Howdy!
