Nice martin, thanks for the little snapshot of home. Funny thing is, in 1975 Kilauea hadn't erupted in 150 years or so. Me and the boys, Troop 265, hiked across the bottom, spent the night, and did a couple merit badge tests one weekend. You'd walk on these bubbles and they'd just collapse. Only about a eighth of an inch thick, but eight feet across. Pretty cool stuff for a fifteen year old in a sash.
As short of a time as I've knowd Dave, I've allus thought, he'd look GOOD in a sash! The chem's comin up from the lava flow from that hike prolly 'splain his current mental condition . . . . .
I never had a sash. But, after age 18 or so, I DID walk some pretty bitchin places . . . . lava was NOT one of them . . .
