Ain't gonna miss this.

Already got my tix.....!

Called "the ascended master of guitar," it is Albert Lee's speed, phrasing, feel and choice of notes that have earned him a reputation as a premier country guitarist. Some of the greats he has performed with include Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs and Roseanne Cash. Lee is in the U.S. briefly, having just completed a tour with former Rolling Stones guitarist Bill Wyman in the fall and the Everly Brothers thereafter, a tour that included the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Lee has received numerous awards for his playing, such as being named "Guitar Player" magazine's "Best Country Guitarist" five times.
He is also a recording artist in his own right, releasing four critically acclaimed albums, including two instrumental albums, "Speechless" and "Gagged but not Bound," that received Grammy nominations. With five solo albums and two albums with his band Hogan's Heroes to his credit, his latest is "Heartbreak Hill," released on the Sugar Hill label in October 2003.
Lee also received a Platinum Disc for his participation in the 2002 "Concert for George," a tribute to George Harrison that took place in London's Royal Albert Hall (a DVD has been made of this event). He plays with his band Hogan's Heroes throughout Europe. Together, they made a DVD titled "Albert Lee & Hogan's Heroes Live in Paris."

Comments:
