Boswell

"... the Dodgers responded as they have since their Brooklyn days: They put men on base, smashed a ball off a wall, then watched in disbelieving horror as everybody dressed in blue got tagged out."

Comments:
"The first runner was out by six feet, the second by a fascinating 10 yards."

N this is why I like baseball.

As LONG as it's been around, and we all played it, and were convinced we KNEW we were the next great thing, we always could expect SOME schlock's would do something at the major league level, that would make us look good.

Great playground chat, those schlocks were.

This is beyond the playground.

How embarassing.

Drop the puck, indeed. :bowsheadinshame:

"N I don't even LIKE The Dogders, you kin go home and ask my WIFE!"

I can just see Dave spilling his beer on that play! GO YANKEES!

Yankees? What Yankees? I don't see any Yankees.

I'm thinkin Mets N Tigers . . . I'd watch that, some GREATA arms coming out of Detroit.

Dodgers? What Dodgers? I don't see any Dodgers.

Go Athletics.

Let's Go OH-kland, (clap, clap, clapclapclap)

Love my A's, but Detriot looks real tough pitching wise.

I mean, Zito, Haren, n the other two starters, and Street and the rest of the pen ain't no slouches, don't get me wrong . . . .

But Detriot's got two guys throwin in triple digits!!!
Edge, Tigers . . .

If it goes 7 games, it may one of the best series played in any playoff format, ever . . . . n yeah, Go A's!
