My Gawd, Django . . . I've Never Seen Him!

Good lord, all that with two fingers on his left hand . . . .

This is incredible, from what, the '30's?

Wow.

Hot Club Du France.

YouTube Scores.

N so do we . . . . share it with friends . . . this is somethng most of us in our lives would never have seen or heard.

Django. Live. Wow.

Comments:
Nice vintage clip there hoss, good stuff fer sure!. There's this "Classic Arts Showcase" program here on the local cable network, I believe they play it on channel 26 here in AT&T cableland...but they play a lot of old time classics like this on their program. Some operas, classical symphonics, as well as some old-time jazz clips as well. gotta love those "Gypsie Guitars" his back-up fellers were using...just like the one Nick from Camp Pigout popped an extra hole in at the evergreen last year!

It really knocked me out, Zeke, forgot who sent it to me. I have never SEEN Django, just heard scratchy recording's and know some of the history.

Man, that was early to mid 30's . . . only Charlie Christian mighta been doing solo note runs on a git. Maybe some blues kats down south, but, I doubt the two genres ever knew the other till MUCH later.

Nick is so kewl, we had a ball Fall Fest pre fest at Lodge. He's such a hoss, always encouraging people, reminds me a lot like Howdy Folk . .

Life is good. May it be for you, too . .

Yep, both bands have done Strawberrry, Atkinson recently I believe . . . .
