Rhonda To Godforsaken

On the 19th. Little church and 550 folks.

I get Rhonda AND 'The Dress', almost all to myself . . . . . 'keep the mando on'. ;-)

$20. CBA fundraiser. Good caws, plenty to crow about.

The church makes me nervous, but, we might cab it so I can use the holy water.

I get to post about a gig in this town once a year, at best.

This is my post. Thanks!

Comments:
Yeah, saw that in the CBA rag yesterday....as well as the letter they sent out to all CBA members asking for $. Twood seem that the Supergrass thang down in Bakersfield was a bust, so much so that they're even asking the performers at the upcoming Grass Valley father's Day festival to consider lowering their fees to help out the fledgling association. Hmmm, not that I would wanna run any organization as such.....oh, Godluvem. But the show that Rhonda's doing sounds like fun, enjoy Laruski!

They dropped some 200 attendee's at GV last summer. That's a $20,000 loss, right there.
Then, their ops expenses were increased by another $10,000 or so which they didn't expect.

THEN, StuporGrass didn't draw, twice, despite promises from SoCal about Year 2.

WE, as members, should really be concerned about WHY 200 didn't show, and how to get them back, and 200 NEW attendees.

Zeke, yer officially an ambassador as proclaimed by THIS Larue, to find ONE, just ONE person NEW AND NEVER BEEN TO GV.

Redheads are acceptable, but, if they are YOUR redhead, then ya gotta bring TWO newbies.

Martin don't count n neither does Cuz. As redheads OR newbies . . . Mando, too, no go.

A Heathen or two would work!

I am searching desperately for someone myself.

That''s how CBA can get back on track, IMHO.

And YOU can be a part of it, we ALL can be a part of it, and not spend a dime to ger er done.

Bobbi graduates that weekend and I got fambly coming in. I should just bring my brother and leave the women folk to ...ow...ouch...I mean, ow, we should all go to ...ouch... the ceremony. It's the right thing to do. I only have two daughters. -- Martin

Yer a good father and husband Martin.
Do what yer trained and suited to do.
It's the RIGHT thing to do.

Sides, Zeke will tell ya the stories at Mobo's every Friday.

N ya know, I should offer a big ass 'BLESS YOU' for doing right by your family, and daughters.

If I haven't made that thought clear, in the past.

Yer a hoss. I've ALWAYS respected you and Wendy for what you've done, and how you've done it. You two should be proud as hayall for what you've contributed to yer daughters, and the planet and yer friends.

BOBLAB.

Sorry. Napkin please? Thanks . .

You folks at HowdyVille . . . verklempt, ok. Thanks. All of yas.

Still makes me sick not to go.
