Pardon me while I wretch.
I was going to post a YouTube of Kelly Willis singing "Shadows of Love" circa 1993 but what would be the point in that? I mean, what with Barry getting indicted? 
I guess there'd be no harm in just searching YouTube for the clip from Texas Connection (Jerry Jeff's old TV show on TNN which is now Spike after the Gaylord Family sold it to CBS who were later bought by Viacom who owned both CMT and TNN and figured they could make more money narrowcasting to NASCAR boys 19-35 instead of having Jerry Jeff, Mark O'Connor and John Prine host "singin' shows with no hot chicks blowin' stuff up". Not that I'm bitter but now I have CMT showing "Trick My Trucker" and them dang Duke boys runnin' from Boss Hawg. I'm all for reality television, mind you. The Sharks dropped a game last night in a shootout with the Ducks and The Red Raiders smacked down Boomer Sooner. Parenthetically speaking of course.) that way I save some space here.

Great read and write by the author, I missed it n thanks for postin it.
I'm about as filled with authority bein as fucked up corrupted as I'm filled with government, the law and authority bein filled and corrupted and bankrupt in a morally way as that I find and fund as a texpayer (no SP that tx) that's fucked up and corrupted and bankrupt in a moral way.
Ya know?

I wanna see Bonds play another year for another team . . I really wanna see if his knees can TAKE it . . . cuz if they can, ONE year, then he's the greatest, ever.
Well, if he hits .300 or more, with at LEAST 35 dings, and 100 ribbies . . . if not?
He's as good as anyone overall, but FAR short of Teddy Ballgame, Ty Cobb, The Babe and Lou Irons. N Hammerin Hank, of course.
Them cats owned it. They just owned the art of hitting . . . Rajah Hornsby, did, too.
Not many own it, for a lifetime, like those above . .
Bonds is close though . . . I say he's in, but we gotta get this shit cleaned up about his issues . . and I kinda need ONE more good year outta him to wrap it up . . . . one more good year outta the old man.
Then I believe the myths . . . cus he DID it, as an old man. Like Clemons.
40+, and tossing in the 90's at times, when he wants? That's idol worship.
I need ONE year from Bonds, for Idol Worship status . . . n STILL I'm fan of his.
