Topical yet Educational too!


Spent a bunch of time at the top of Mauna Kea when I was a kid. Some at the observatory, some just playin' in the snow.


Not quite as purty as the sierra, but has it's own 13,796 feet of charm.


And there's science too!

I've only been to ONE observatory in my life, the one on Mt. Hamilton, South Bay. Real kewl trip, we got to look thru the 36" lens and see Jupiter one night.

Not like the rigs they got there in HA. That's bitchen! I didn't know it was at 13K +!!! Too kewl . . .
