Strawberry for the Starship?

But remember, if you don't know Jorma, you don't know Jack.

Comments:
I'd like to make it clear that I am not advocating the use of the Jefferson Starship at Strawberry, nor would I be if one, in fact, did exist.

No hablo Starship.

But remember......

If you don't know Marty,

you don't know Jack either.

Tub, Jorma got nuttin to do with Jeff Star or Kantner.

And I'd LOVE to see that act at BerryFest!!!

Gimme some old time Weavers and protest music, it's not like anyone much in THIS past 5 years has done much . . .

Steve Earle.

Um . . . . a few others. Sure.
Name them, I can't.

But given the LOADED GUN they were all handed by BushCo and 30 years of RePig Rule, present gen artists are NOT unloading on the shit of it all like they did in the 60's.

And that's when it all blossomed. It's failing to blossom in OUR times, now.

Here's to Kantner bless his soul.

Harump, To The Rest Of The Wussies.

Harumph, I Say.

"JEFFERSON AIRPLANE
Jefferson Airplane's debut show was on August 13, 1965 at the Matrix nightclub in San Francisco. The first performance featured Marty Balin on vocals, Paul Kantner on vocals/rhythm guitar, and Jorma Kaukonen on lead guitar. Signe Anderson, (who sang on Jefferson Airplane's first recording "Jefferson Airplane Takes Off'') also performed. The bass player, Jack Casady and drummer Skip Spence, (who was later one of the original members of Moby Grape) joined the band two months later." -- The Official Jefferson Airplane Website...

So, what you mean Jorma's got nuttun to do with Kantner, Willis?

You mean now? Heck no, Hot Tuna actually tours and plays gigs and stuff.

anyone who doesnt know marty knows marty. actually more interested in creating than being recognized. ditto all previous nonexistence when previous unit disintegrated. id have to gag if starship entered the picture. somethings dont come back

Tub, yep my comment was in reference to Jorma NOT being part of Paul's recent config.

Who know's Signe's middle name without looking at an album cover, cd or googling?

And TAKES OFF was and is STILL as rightous of any folk rock that ever was. Right up there with anything the Byrds did . . . everybody knows, cuz It's No Secret!!!!
