Comments:
Yer Latin Festivallllllllll is beguiled by teh grass.

Hell of a sitch, I'm dyin and the rest of you aren't.

Someone take a pic of the camp and plunge of '03.

Damn I hope all you folks have big fun . . .

Post pics post fest, will ya . . . . .

Well lets see....
at 1 in the mornin' on sattiday night, we were all keyed up listenin to Jeff Cruz wail on his tele behind Larry Hosford in the Fernwood bar, and shall we say...the tequila was flowing nicely. That was one big kick in the pants! Great music, great spot, and dare I say......I think the crowd has lost weight!

Yee.....having said that.....

HAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

And if you're looking for the 'Mike McKinley stole my drugs and won't give them back' support group....

Try room 3.

Frank Wakefield at the bar with Jim Lewin on guitar, Belle Monroe, Diana Donelly, Fleet cooking chickens, wind storms and a sold out crowd. We'll get those tshirts going.

"That's right, this is the Dave Ogilvy Took My Dope support group." and for those of you keeping score at home, the lyrics are:

Holly came from miami f.l.a.
Hitch-hiked her way across the u.s.a.

Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her leg and then he was a she
She says, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
Said, hey honey, take a walk on the wild side

Candy came from out on the island
In the backroom she was everybodys darling

But she never lost her head
Even when she was given head
She says, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
Said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
And the coloured girls go

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo

Little joe never once gave it away
Everybody had to pay and pay

A hustle here and a hustle there
New york city is the place where they said
Hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
I said hey joe, take a walk on the wild side

Sugar plum fairy came and hit the streets
Lookin for soul food and a place to eat

Went to the apollo
You should have seen him go go go
They said, hey sugar, take a walk on the wild side
I said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
All right, huh

Jackie is just speeding away
Thought she was james dean for a day

Then I guess she had to crash
Valium would have helped that dash
She said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
I said, hey honey, take a walk on the wild side
And the coloured girls say

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo

Typical Howdy review.

Pure psychopathic patois, and no pics.

Sigh.

Heard there was a tornado, any one get blown?

Glad to hear wierd people in bar did wierd songs . . .

How was the music?

I'm sorry, that psychopathic patois part, that WAS the fest?

Sounds like a great time. For 68 steps every time.

Pics?

12 steps might be more appropriate than 68 steps, LaRoo...

Weepin' Jesus on the Cross, Larue, if you want pics, come by and take some. Do you ever see a camera around anyone's neck? And now, back to the Gatorade.

WOW !! now that was a mighty fine fine time.....And Oh the stories !!! and Larue no pics for several reasons my dear. Like no one could operate a camera most of the time and the other You really don't want to see the crew in that shape..(Unless your in the same shape) Trust me on that one. and the Ventana wind cetainly did blow HArd !Rocked the Mobilux like a VW bus. And the music was great. Especially with our back stage Howdy Camp. didn't even have to get out of bed to hear mighty fine music. Yep it was a good'n ,,Mike McK. has another story to tell or not.

No pics? Ok, stories are kewl . . . other than the great wind sounds like it was a great time!!!

Oh, yeah, Fred kicked down with the B&G as we were cleaning up. Gawd bless him.

Sound man for who, Zeke? Or, was he a sound man like Paul Knight, a company . . . I've never heard of him, and I'm not unaware of much of Bay Area music. But I love the story as told . . . tooooo funny.

Bear, I know . . . to this day his 'work' likely still influences me . . . . ;-)

((((PHRED)))) *G*

Cleanup's thirsty work!!!

And thanks to Zeke and others who have posted elsewhere of the fest. I'll make the pictures up in my mind . . . and no, thanks, no 'cookies' for me. I can make up stuff now in my mind without the help. ;-)

1 hectare = 10,000 square meters

1 acre = 4,046.85642 square meters

"4,840 square yards or 43,560 square feet[1] (which can be easily remembered as 44,000 square feet, less 1%). Because of alternative definitions of a yard or a foot, the exact size of an acre also varies slightly. Originally, an acre was a selion of land one furlong (660 ft) long and one chain (66 ft) wide. However, an acre is a measure of area, and has no particular width, length or shape.

The acre is often used to express areas of land. In the metric system, the hectare is commonly used for the same purpose. An acre is approximately 40% of a hectare.

One acre is 90.75 yards of a 53.33-yard-wide American football field. The full field, including the end zones, covers approximately 1.32 acres." -- Wikipedia"
