Good Timuh!

WOOF! Between her & her half sister Anoushka, Ravi definitely has some good genes going!

Ravi who?

And what the HAYALL was NORA JONES doing at Fernwood with YOU people?

Ok, I don't need THOSE details, just the proximity thang . . .

Nice weekend boys, well done.

Hey Christa, other n Zeke, there's no witnesses that I recall. *G*

I coulda got soakin wet fallin down in the mud trying to get in my car when they all came back from the bar for all THEY know.

It never happened. There's no pictures. ;-)

(that I know of)

Yer kiddin me Larue, right? Geesh, Mr. Man in the know....um, update: Nora Jones is the daughter of Ravi Shankar, as is Anoushka Shankar, quite possibly the world's finest (& best looking) Sitar player. Needless to say, they're both incredibly talented and beautiful. I'm sure Martin could downlaod us a pic of Anoushka here, since we're pressin the flesh, as it were....

*BWAH*! gotta teach these old dogs new tricks once in a while! *L*

Nora Jones? Daughter of Ravi Shankar? I GUESS I heard that somewhere, never sunk in.

Lesse, he was what, 50 or more when the Beatles hung out with him for a while. That was what, '67? (ok, he was in middle 40's then, my bad).

Nora's what, 29? Born what, '79?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ravi_Shankar

Shankar's 87.

Guess he was making babies in his later 50's.
Go figger.

So, what was Nora doin at Fernwood camping with YOU people??????

Oh, and I don't really care for Nora's music, it don't move me . . . Never been a real fan of sleepy, dreamy breathiness pop/caberet stuff . . . (outside of Lily von Schtupp). *G*

Guess that's why her heritage escaped me for the most part.

I haven't listened to Indian music since I stopped taking . . . . ;-) that was LONG ago.

I respect sitar craftspersonship, though. Maybe I'll youtube the OTHER daughter to check her out . . .
