He's got yer squirell.....
Right here! Got up this mornin' and this guy was perched on a boat in the yard. Haven't seen a crow, seagull, or pigeon all day. I was wonderin' why there was bird carcass all over the dock when I got home.

I was told by someone in the know, that it's a Peale's Falcon, (peregrinus pealei) which is a subspecies of the Peregrine Falcon. Actually not too uncommon around the pacific northwest. Kinda odd for here though. He stayed all day. Never seen the place so devoid of birds....any of 'em!
