Looses both engines at 3,000 Feet above NYC, he pressurizes the plane and he puts in down between two bridges and GOES THROUGH THE CABIN TWICE SEARCHING FOR 'SOULS'.

Pressurizes the cabin? First I've heard of this, what role did that play upon the outcome? They were only at 3K ft when the geese hit the shit, er, fans. I WAS surprised they had so much glide time to do what Sully did.
Anyway ya look at it, this was a hell of a job, Sully. And yeah, he's a hoss 'mongst hosses.
Apparently, if this had been a rear mount engine craft, it would have plunged straight down, immediately.
Let's hear it for the Air Bus tech folks, too, methinks.
